Meanwhile, since the beginning of the year, the whole province has recorded 3,901 cases of dengue fever, including 3,015 inpatients and 886 outpatients, an increase of 3.7 times over the same period last year 1,037 cases. The number of severe cases alone was 104 cases, an increase of 4.7 times over the same period (22 cases). The number of inpatients increased by 49% compared to the average period of 2016 - 2020 (2,025 cases).
Notably, since the beginning of the year, Tay Ninh province has not recorded any deaths from dengue fever.
Faced with the complicated developments of the epidemic, the health sector of Tay Ninh province has synchronously deployed many measures to prevent and control epidemics in all localities, not only concentrating in areas with high cases.
