Thai Nguyen approves policy on expressway project worth nearly 30,000 billion VND

The People's Council of Thai Nguyen province has just passed a Resolution on agreeing on the policy of assigning the People's Committee of Cao Bang province as the managing agency to implement the Bac Kan - Cao Bang Expressway Construction Investment Project.

The People's Council of Thai Nguyen province has just passed 22 Resolutions at the third session of the 14th Provincial People's Council.

In which, a Resolution was passed on the policy of assigning the People's Committee of Cao Bang province as the managing agency to implement the Investment Project to build the Bac Kan - Cao Bang expressway.

The project has a total main route length of 87.3km, starting point at Km0+000 (connecting with Cho Moi - Bac Kan expressway); ending point at Km87+300, in Thuc Phan, Cao Bang.

The project through Thai Nguyen province is over 58km long, through Cao Bang is over 28km long.

The route is designed according to TCVN 5729:2012 expressway standards, with a scale of 4 lanes, a 22m wide roadbed, a 20.5m wide road surface, and a design speed of 80km/h.

The connecting sections in the center of Cao Bang are designed according to the standards of a grade III road, with a 12m wide roadbed and an 11m wide road surface.

The project is implemented in the form of public investment, using capital from the Central Budget, with a total investment of nearly 30,000 billion VND.

The expected implementation period is from 2025 - 2029, in which investment will be prepared in 2025, and construction will be carried out in 2026 - 2029.
