On October 30, information from the Office of the People's Committee of Son La province informed that the People's Committee of the province has just issued a decision to assign tasks to the Chairman, Vice Chairmen and members of the People's Committee of Son La province, term XV, 2021-2026.
The decision clearly states that Chairman of the People's Committee of Son La province Nguyen Dinh Viet will lead and comprehensively manage the activities of the Provincial People's Committee; directly in charge of strategic areas such as planning, socio-economic development plans, finance - budget; internal affairs, inspection and corruption prevention.
Directly direct the agencies: Provincial Police, Provincial Military Command, Department of Home Affairs, Department of Finance and Provincial Inspectorate; at the same time, maintain working relationships with the Government, Central Ministries, branches and Provincial Party Committee, Provincial People's Council.
The Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Ha Trung Chien, is assigned to manage the fields of culture and society, including education, health, information and communication, science and technology, tourism, digital transformation; and at the same time, assist the Chairman in directing general work when authorized.
Vice Chairman Dang Ngoc Hau is in charge of ethnic minority, religious, foreign affairs; judicial reform; national target program for development of ethnic minority and mountainous areas.
Vice Chairman Nguyen Thanh Cong is assigned to monitor the fields of agriculture, industry and trade, natural resources - environment, collective economic development and new rural construction; direct natural disaster prevention and response to climate change.
Vice Chairman Nguyen Minh Tien is in charge of managing investment in basic construction, urban development, transport infrastructure, finance - prices, bidding and water supply and drainage programs, urban environment.
In addition, directors of departments and branches, as members of the Provincial People's Committee, are responsible for managing the branches according to decentralization and directly monitoring the assigned communes and wards, ensuring two-way information, grasping the situation at the grassroots level, promptly advising on the resolution of arising issues.
