On July 13, the Department of Health of Lam Dong province said that dengue fever is developing complicatedly in many localities.
In which, Quang Tan and Quang Tin communes are areas recording an increase in the number of cases, with outbreaks appearing that need to be focused on handling.

Faced with the diễn biến of the epidemic, the authorities of the two communes simultaneously implemented environmental sanitation measures, killed larvae and pupae, and handled the outbreak to limit the risk of spread.
In Quang Tan commune, local authorities, Health Station, officers and soldiers of Regiment 720 and people launched a general environmental sanitation campaign, cleared bushes, collected waste, cleared sewers and handled points at risk of generating disease-transmitting mosquitoes.
The forces also went to each household to propagate and guide them to remove items containing stagnant water for disease prevention.
According to the Quang Tan Commune Health Station, from the beginning of 2026 to now, the locality has recorded 88 cases of dengue fever.

Among them, the outbreak in Ja Lu bon has 64 cases, Dieng Du bon has 12 cases; The remaining cases are scattered in Ban Tan Lap, Dak N'Jut and Bu Ndong.
In Quang Tin commune, 35 cases of dengue fever have been recorded since the beginning of the year.
From July 1 to 13, the locality had 12 new cases and 2 outbreaks appeared in Bu Bir - Dang Klieng hamlet (2 cases) and hamlet 8, Chau Thanh area - Se Re II hamlet (4 cases).
Quang Tin Commune People's Committee has directed the Health Station to coordinate with relevant units to urgently handle the outbreak, organize environmental sanitation, kill larvae and pupae, and spray chemicals to kill mosquitoes to control the epidemic.
The health sector recommends that people proactively implement measures to prevent and control dengue fever, maintain the hygiene of the living environment, and regularly remove mosquito breeding grounds to limit the spread of the disease in the community.
