From July 1st, the base salary increased to 2.53 million VND/month, leading to a significant increase in the income of doctors, physicians, and nurses at public hospitals. In addition to salaries, many new allowances have also been applied, contributing to improving the income of medical staff.
From July 1st, the official base salary increases from 2.34 million VND to 2.53 million VND/month, equivalent to an increase of 190,000 VND/month (about 8%). This is the basis for calculating salaries, allowances and many regimes for cadres, civil servants, and public employees receiving salaries from the state budget.
For the health sector, the salaries of doctors, medical assistants, and nurses at public facilities are calculated according to the salary coefficient of each professional title multiplied by the base salary. Therefore, when the base salary increases, the income of the medical team also increases correspondingly.
