In the draft Decree of the Government stipulating the base salary and bonus regime for cadres, civil servants, public employees and armed forces, the Ministry of Home Affairs proposes to adjust the base salary to 2.53 million VND/month from July 1, 2026, an increase of 19,000 VND compared to the current level.
The salary coefficient of cadres, civil servants, public employees and armed forces is currently applied according to Decree 204/2004/ND-CP of the Government in 2004.
According to the provisions of Circular 07/2024/TT-BNV, the military salary scale is calculated according to the formula: Salary = salary coefficient x base salary.
According to the salary coefficient specified in Decree 204/2004/ND-CP, the expected salary scale for professional and technical personnel in elementary basic chemistry from July 1, 2026 is as follows:
