On January 7, Gia Lai Provincial Children's Hospital sent a report to the Provincial Department of Health about taking care of a newborn baby abandoned in the Phan Dinh Phung suspension bridge area in Dien Hong ward.
Previously, at about 4 am on January 7, people discovered a newborn baby wrapped in a black nylon bag in the Phan Dinh Phung suspension bridge area, so they took him to Pleiku Medical Center.

On December 9th, Gia Lai Provincial Children's Hospital also received and treated a newborn baby abandoned in a rubber garden in Ia Mo commune, with many scratches on the body, suspected of being scratched by animals.
According to initial information, at about 9 pm on December 8th, Mr. Ro Lan Bik (born 2003, worker of Ia Mo Production Team, Chu Pah Rubber Company) heard a cry coming from the rubber forest, so he went looking for it.
When following the sound, he discovered a dog plowing the soil and saw the limbs and face of a newborn baby girl buried, her body showing signs of purple. At this time, the weather was cold, about 16 degrees Celsius.
Mr. Bik and some workers took the baby into the team's office to warm her up and take care of her initially. The baby girl still had the umbilical cord intact, and her forehead had many scratches.
Upon receiving the news, Ia Mo Commune Police instructed the group of workers to perform first aid; and at the same time took the child to Gia Lai Children's Hospital for care.
