According to the report of Nghe An Provincial Department of Health, the Center for Testing Drugs, Cosmetics, and Food - Nghe An Provincial Department of Health has taken samples of Gel Panda Baby Bach Lien product at Van An Pharmaceutical - Cosmetic Joint Stock Company (address: No. 4, Lane 4, Tran Quoc Toan Street, Vinh Phu Ward, Nghe An Province) to check the quality.
Test results showed that the product sample did not meet quality standards on microorganism limitations, violating regulations on cosmetic management.
The Drug Administration of Vietnam requested to suspend the circulation of Gel Panda Baby Bach Lien - Box 1 type 30g. No. of receipt of the Declaration form: 129/20/CBMP-HD. so: 310525P1. Production date (NSX): May 31, 2025. Expiry date of use (HSD): May 31, 2028
At the same time, nationwide recall the product batch of Gel Panda Baby Bach Lien - Box of 1 type 30g mentioned above.
The Department of Health of provinces and cities needs to: widely notify businesses and cosmetic users in the area to immediately stop trading and using the violating product batch, and return it to the supplier;
Organize the recovery and destruction of all batches of substandard products, strictly inspect, monitor implementation, and handle violations according to legal regulations.
Nam Duoc Hai Long Joint Stock Company is responsible for sending a recall notice to the entire distribution system, business establishments, and product users; Receiving and recalling returned products, destroying all batches of unsatisfactory products; Sending a report on the recall and destruction results to the Drug Administration before December 12, 2025.
The Drug Administration of Vietnam (Ministry of Health) also requested the suspension of circulation and national recall of the sunscreen product LYZEEN Whitening Protective Spectrum Sunscreen SPF50+ PA++++ distributed by C&B International Import-Export Trading Company Limited (Phu Tho).
The appraisal results of the Institute of Criminal Science (Ministry of Public Security) showed that the SPF of the product was 70% lower than the advertisement, and Phu Tho Provincial Police determined that this was a counterfeit goods.
The Ministry of Health requires local Departments of Health to urgently recall and destroy violating products; at the same time, strengthen inspection and communication to warn people not to buy or use this product.
C&B Company must complete the recall and report the results to the Department of Drug Administration before November 30, 2025. In addition, the management agency also decided to temporarily suspend receiving cosmetic product declaration documents of this company for 6 months.
