In October 2025, the People's Committee of Khanh Hoa province submitted a document to the Provincial People's Council on approving the tasks and budget for purchasing equipment for medical units in 2025.
According to the submission, the total estimated cost of purchasing equipment for 5 hospitals under the Department of Health is VND 20.676 billion from the provincial budget, expected to be implemented in 2025.
5 hospitals include Ninh Thuan Dermatology and Psychiatry Hospital, Ninh Thuan General Hospital, Ninh Thuan Lung Hospital, Ninh Thuan Eye Hospital and Ninh Thuan Traditional Medicine - Rehabilitation Hospital.
The goal of the procurement is to ensure professional requirements, improve the quality of medical examination and treatment and better serve the health care needs of the people.
Previously, in September 2025, the Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Council passed a Resolution approving the tasks and estimates of funding for purchasing medical equipment in 2025 with a total amount of VND 17.924 billion, for Yersin Nha Trang General Hospital and the Testing Center.
Thus, the total estimated budget for the procurement and supplementation of medical equipment in Khanh Hoa in 2025 is estimated at about 38.6 billion VND, contributing to strengthening the capacity of the health system and meeting the requirements of people's health care in the new period.
