On September 23, representatives of LPBank Securities Joint Stock Company (LPBS) came to Lao Dong Newspaper's Permanent Office in Ho Chi Minh City to donate VND869 million through the Golden Heart Social Charity Fund to join hands to help people in the northern provinces and cities affected by storms and floods to overcome the consequences.
Mr. Hoang Cong Nguyen Vu - Deputy General Director of LPBank Securities Joint Stock Company said: As soon as receiving information about the losses of our compatriots due to storms and floods, LPBank Securities Joint Stock Company immediately approved a budget contribution of 500 million VND and launched a fundraising movement to support compatriots affected by storms and floods.
“In just 4 days of calling, LPBS employees, customers and partners have raised an additional VND369 million. We have transferred the entire amount of VND869 million to the account of the Golden Heart Charity Fund - Lao Dong Newspaper. In addition, on September 28, LPBS is expected to join the Golden Heart Charity Fund to organize direct relief activities in Quang Ninh province, which was severely damaged by typhoon Yagi.
Cash gifts worth VND20 million will be handed directly to more than 40 families who suffered the most damage in the Ha Long and Cam Pha areas. We hope that this support will help people pay part of the cost of repairing damage and repairing their houses, so that they can soon rebuild their lives,” said Mr. Vu.
