Mother, sister, and uncle passed away one after another, leaving Le Van Tuan Anh orphaned, living on the love of relatives and villagers...

Previously, Le Van Tuan Anh (born 2010) lived in Thuan Ton neighborhood, Thieu Hoa commune (Thanh Hoa) with his mother, Ms. Le Thi Hien, older sister Le Thi Phuong and aunt, Ms. Le Thi Bien.

Ms. Hien is a single mother of 2 children. After many upheavals, her 3 children and her older sister lived together in poverty. Ms. Hien's sisters farmed, Ms. Hien's eldest daughter, Phuong, worked at a leather shoe company, and Tuan Anh went to school. The mother and uncle, besides farming, whoever hires them to do what they do... 4 people relied on each other through hardship.

To have money to take care of their children and grandchildren, Ms. Hien and Ms. Bien also went to washing dishes for hire, cleaning restaurants... to have income. Despite the difficulties, mother and child still have each other.

Misfortune struck when Ms. Hien had an accident and passed away in November 2020. In February 2022, on her way home from work, Phuong also had a traffic accident, a brain hemorrhage and passed away not long after.

Le Van Tuan Anh had not yet subsided the pain of losing his mother, losing his sister, bewilderedly clinging to his uncle... when in September 2025, Mrs. Bien fell seriously ill and passed away. Only after a few years, the family of 4 people relied on each other, leaving only Tuan Anh as an orphan who came out early in the morning...

Every day, outside of school hours, Tuan Anh stays around the originally empty house, which is now even more deserted.

Mr. Le Thanh Hai, born in 1959 and his wife, Mrs. Tran Thi Tho, born in 1964 - are Tuan Anh's uncle living right near the house, often going back and forth, supporting the care of their orphaned grandson.

According to Mr. Hai, Tuan Anh is "not as smart as his peers", and he is alone, so his wife has to come over and take care of him regularly every day.

He can cook rice and live on his own, but still needs support. He is well-behaved, obedient to adults, and listens to everything he is told," said Mr. Le Thanh Hai.

According to Mr. Hai, after his loved ones passed away, Tuan Anh also received the attention of the government, people, and philanthropists. The entire amount of donations from him, his family, and the government and organizations agreed to deposit it in the bank so that he could have money to cover his future.

Sharing with Lao Dong reporters, Ms. Tran Thi Tho added that Tuan Anh's relatives are all in difficulty. When Ms. Hien was alive, the 3 mothers and children also overcame adversity thanks to the support of the whole family, neighbors, departments, branches, and organizations...

Since the consecutive accidents happened, my husband and I have been the ones who have taken care of everything with both spirit and material support for our child," Ms. Tho shared.

Mr. Le Van Ton - Head of Thuan Ton neighborhood, Thieu Hoa commune, Thanh Hoa province said that Tuan Anh's family situation is special, so he receives the attention of the government and neighbors. The locality is also very close in the process of accompanying and supporting him because the future is still very long ahead...

We hope our child will receive care and love to continue on the road to the future," Mr. Ton said.
