The 2024 Davis Cup - the 112th season of the oldest team tennis tournament in the world, will begin with the qualifying round in the first week of February 2024. The International Tennis Federation (ITF) has drawn lots, determining 12 matches to take place over 3 days, starting from February 2.
After a painful defeat in the semi-final against Italy in the 2023 tournament, Serbia will begin their journey towards a second Davis Cup title against Slovakia.
Novak Djokovic ended his proud 12-year unbeaten streak (21 matches) in the tournament when he lost to Jannik Sinner, but that gave him more motivation for next season.
Meanwhile, Alexander Zverev's Germany lost to Switzerland in this year's qualifiers. Next year, the draw will take them to the tough opponent Hungary, a team with talented tennis players such as Fabian Marozsan and Marton Fucsovics.
