If you want to edit your photos before sharing them with friends or family, there are plenty of excellent photo editing apps for Android to help you out. But let's be real – editing manually can be a chore, especially if you're not familiar with editing tools.
That’s why Google Photos is a great choice for one-tap photo editing tools. And now it might be even more convenient with a new feature called “Quick Edit.”
According to a recent report, Google Photos may soon allow users to quickly edit photos before sending them. The feature, called “Quick Edit,” is said to appear on a new sharing screen when you tap the share button on a photo.
However, if you select multiple photos at once, this option is not currently visible – at least for now.
Quick Edit seems designed to simplify basic editing, like cropping photos or applying quick edits.
Once you're done editing, sharing is as simple as tapping the button in the bottom right corner. However, it's worth noting that this feature isn't yet widely available. It appears that Google is testing it with a limited number of users.
Still, it’s clear that Google is looking to make photo sharing more seamless. This isn’t the only recent update aimed at improving the way we share photos.
Google Photos has also introduced changes that make it easier for users to see who interacts with shared folders, and the app is also working to give users more control over Google Memories — like deciding how often certain people appear without removing them from memories entirely.
