The Central Committee of the Vietnam Red Cross Society has just coordinated with units to organize a campaign program to support the Cuban people with the theme "65 years of Vietnam - Cuba's Love".
The program will take place over 65 days (August 13 - October 16, 2025) to mobilize resources to support the Cuban people to overcome difficulties and foster special friendship between the two peoples.
The program will mobilize resources to support the Cuban people in medical supplies, necessities and sustainable development cooperation areas, contributing to helping the Cuban people overcome difficulties caused by the pandemic, natural disasters and blockade and embargo policies.
The program is a meaningful humanitarian activity, demonstrating the loyal, close relationship and international solidarity of the Vietnamese people for the Cuban people. This is also an opportunity to express gratitude for the noble gestures that Cuba has shown to Vietnam during the difficult years.
As of 6:00 p.m. on August 16, the program "65 years of Vietnam - Cuba Love" has received 1.375 million donations, with a total amount of up to VND 271.9 billion, an increase of VND 20 billion compared to the data announced at 12:00 p.m. on the same day.
