On August 7, official information pages of the Government and Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese simultaneously posted solemn messages welcoming the state visit of General Secretary and President To Lam to Australia, taking place from August 9 to August 12.
The announcement posted on the official website of the Australian Prime Minister confirmed that Prime Minister Anthony Albanese will host the official welcoming ceremony and have an important talks with General Secretary and President To Lam.

Vietnam-Australia relations are built on a foundation of deep strategic trust, shared interests and common aspirations for the future of the region" - Prime Minister Albanese shared.
Sharing with VNA on this occasion, former Australian Ambassador to Vietnam Andrew Goledzinowski said that the visit of General Secretary and President To Lam to Australia is not only of special political significance but is also expected to create new momentum to realize the goals within the framework of the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership, opening up more cooperation opportunities in the fields of economy, technology, energy and human resource development.
The former Australian Ambassador said that besides traditional cooperation fields such as education and training, high-tech agriculture, clean energy and policy exchange, the two countries are facing many new opportunities in strategic technology industries such as artificial intelligence (AI), semiconductors, digital technology and other advanced technology fields.
Also sharing with VNA, Mr. Layton Pike - Member of the Advisory Council, Australia - Vietnam Policy Institute (AVPI), Deputy Director of RMIT University in charge of international affairs - said that this is a very favorable time for Vietnam and Australia to continue to deepen the mature and highly politically reliable relationship.
The visit of General Secretary and President To Lam is an opportunity for the two countries to realize their strategic ambitions into specific results.
