When asked to clarify the involvement of Ukraine in the Nord Stream attack in an interview with Indian journalist Vadefulya of India Today, Mr. Johann Wadephul said: "No, we only witnessed devastation and, of course, this was an act that I consider terrorist."
The top German diplomat added: "The investigation is ongoing. The German judiciary is independent and I fully believe our judiciary will identify the culprit and bring him, or all those involved, to justice."
At the end of August, when asked about the Nord Stream investigation, German Foreign Minister Johann Wadephul admitted that there may be some political consequences after the investigation.
"As a rule of law country, we have to wait for the outcome of this investigation. When there are results, I will be able to evaluate and, if necessary, make any political conclusions," said Johann Wadephul.
