Recorded at 3:00 p.m. on September 6, Saigon Jewelry Company Limited (SJC) listed the buying and selling price of gold bars at VND133.9 - 135.4 million/tael, an increase of VND100 million compared to the previous session. The difference between buying and selling remains at 1.5 million VND/tael.
Major gold trading enterprises such as PNJ, DOJI, Phu Quy, Bao Tin Minh Chau, Bao Tin Manh Hai also simultaneously increased their selling price to the same level as SJC, bringing the price level of gold bars in the whole market to a new record.
Since the September 2 holiday, gold bars have had a series of 4 consecutive increases, adding nearly 5 million VND per tael. This is the 18th time in 2025 that gold bar prices have broken historical records. Compared to the beginning of the year, the price has increased by more than 51 million VND/tael, equivalent to 61%, bringing a net profit of nearly 49 million VND to investors holding.
No less exciting, 99.99 gold rings of type 1'5 at SJC on September 6 alone skyrocketed to 127.7 - 130.2 million VND/tael, a million VND higher than the previous session.
PNJ, DOJI, Phu Quy all have selling prices exceeding 130 million VND/tael, of which Bao Tin Minh Chau and Bao Tin Manh Hai hold the highest prices in the market, reaching 130.8 million VND/tael.
Since the beginning of the year, gold rings have increased by nearly 47 million VND/tael, equivalent to 56%, helping investors have a net profit of about 43 million VND/tael.
