According to Russian officials, a Ukrainian drone attack targeting the resort village of Arkhipo-Osipovka in the Krasnodar region, on the Black Sea coast, killed 7 people, including 3 children, and injured at least 40 people.
The Krasnodar Regional Emergency Response Center said that this is one of the attacks with the largest casualties in the area in recent times.
Assistant to the Russian Minister of Health, Mr. Alexei Kuznetsov, said that 21 victims have been taken to the hospital for treatment, of which 9 people, including 3 children, are in critical condition.
Meanwhile, the Russian Ministry of Defense said that its forces used drones to attack 4 cargo ships that Moscow accused of transporting military supplies for the Ukrainian army.
According to the ministry's statement, 2 ships unloading military goods at Mykolaiv port were attacked. Mykolaiv is a river port located on the Southern Bug River, about 65km from the Black Sea to the mainland.
In addition, 2 other cargo ships believed to be transporting military supplies in the Black Sea also became targets in Russian attacks.
Currently, the Ukrainian side has not commented on the information released by Russia.
