Thousands of people urgently evacuated as the fire engulfed and burned down a shopping mall in Russia

    Several cars exploded in the parking tunnel of the Sindika shopping mall in Moscow, Russia, due to a fire on October 8.

    According to the Moscow regional office of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations, the fire started in the basement of the shopping mall, spreading to the parking basement and part of the roof of the shopping mall. The area of the fire was about 3,000 square meters, according to Tass.

    According to RT, the fire started at around 9pm on October 8.

    About 100 mobile police and two Ka-32 helicopters were mobilized to participate in the fire.

    A total of 3,000 people have been evacuated from the building. There was no data on casualties in the fire.
