On March 26 (local time), Hezbollah's General Secretary, Sheikh Naim Qassem, said that Hezbollah will not accept any form of normalization of relations with Israel.
He also condemned Tel Aviv's actions in southern Lebanon, affirming a tough stance in defending national sovereignty.
According to al-Manar TV channel, speaking at the Jerusalem Forum, Qassem emphasized that Hezbollah and Lebanese resistance forces are determined to prevent Israel from achieving strategic goals in Lebanon. He said the normalization of relations with Israel was not on the movement's agenda.
Sheikh Naim Qassem reaffirmed the request for the Israeli army to withdraw all forces from Lebanon, including the Shebaa Farms area and Kfarchouba hill.
He stressed that Hezbollah still maintains a resistance stance and considers this the only measure to protect territorial sovereignty, as well as prevent further aggressions from Israel.
Hezbollah leaders also praised the steadfast fighting spirit of the Palestinians, especially in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank. He emphasized that despite the high price, Palestinians continue to fight to protect their land, dignity and rights.
In addition, Mr. Qassem condemned Israel's strategy to reshape the region by undermining the cause of the Palestinians and expanding control of the territory. He warned that the resistance front, including Hezbollah and its allies, is still determined to fight against any such efforts to maintain stability and protect the rights of ethnic groups in the region.
