The Global Sumud Flotilla (GSF) ship was intercepted and illegally housed by the Israeli forces in international waters, the GSF statement said.
GSF is an organization that seeks to bring aid to Gaza by ships departing from many ports across the Mediterranean.
In addition to the confirmed blocked ships, live signals and communication with a number of other ships have also been lost. We are making efforts to count all participants and crew, the GSF added.
GSF stressed that the journey to Gaza continues, despite some vessels being blocked, and said it will not be discouraged.
According to a Telegram announcement, the Israeli forces used "direct assault" against a number of other vessels, including one that was "intentionally hit" and two that were "attacked by a dragon's boat". GSF also posted videos as evidence but noted that the crew members were still safe.
The Israeli Foreign Ministry later confirmed that many ships were "safe-safe blocked" and that passengers were being "transferred to an Israeli port".
In a post on X, the Israeli Foreign Ministry wrote: Greta and her friends are safe and healthy, referring to Swedish activist Greta Thunberg, who appeared in the video sitting on the floor, surrounded by soldiers.
Meanwhile, Israeli Ambassador to the United Nations Danny Danon said that those who " seek to illegally enter Israeli territory" will be deported immediately after Yom Kippur (from October 1 to October 2).
We will not allow any showing off to approach the war zone to operate to infringe upon sovereignty, Danons statement on X stated.
