Northern Vietnam welcomes 2 cold air waves
According to the weather forecast of the Vietnam National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, in the 2 days of March 4-5, the cold air is likely to strengthen again in the North.
The stronger intensification period occurred on March 6, causing a significant drop in temperature, the weather turned cold, and some mountainous areas were severely cold. The North Central region will also turn cold from the night of March 6.
Lang Son and Cao Bang are forecast to be the first localities affected by this cold air mass. From March 7-9, the lowest temperature will decrease to 10-11 degrees Celsius, the highest temperature will range from 14-17 degrees Celsius.
In Hanoi, from March 7-9, the lowest temperature ranges from 15-16 degrees Celsius, the highest is 18-19 degrees Celsius, the temperature range during the day and night is low, cold. In particular, on March 6-7, this area will have rain and showers.
China: Temperature drops sharply, warning of severe cold and dense fog
The National Meteorological Center (NMC) has extended its yellow alert for the cold front affecting most of the central and eastern regions of the country, as well as the Tangshan Plateau. It is forecasted that on March 3, many places will record a temperature drop of 6-10 degrees Celsius.
Not only is China experiencing severe cold, but it also faces dense fog in coastal areas such as bottleneck, Hoang Hai and the East China Sea, with a view of less than 1km, even less than 500m in some areas.
Vehicles are advised to move slowly, while airports, highways and seaports need to take measures to ensure safety.

The CWA forecasts that temperatures will return to average between March and May, but cold air waves may still affect in March. Rainfall in March and April is expected to be low or moderate, while the rainfall in May is still unclear.
