On the evening of July 25, at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs' Office, the State Committee for Overseas Vietnamese held the closing ceremony of the Vietnam Summer Camp 2025 program.
Mr. Nguyen Trung Kien, Chairman of the State Committee for Overseas Vietnamese, said that 110 delegates from 31 countries and territories, spent 14 days together, traveling through 10 provinces and cities, exploring lands rich in cultural and historical identity, together fostering more love for the homeland, continuing to write the story of peace as the theme of this year's Summer Farm.
Mr. Nguyen Trung Kien emphasized that Vietnam is today rising strongly in the new era - an independent, integrated, dynamic developing and comprehensively innovating country. After nearly 40 years of implementing the Doi Moi process, we have been continuing to write stories of peace, development and integration, not only for our nation but also actively contributing to regional and world peace.

Overseas Vietnamese delegates participating in the Vietnam Summer Camp 2025 program set foot in the places with the heroic mark of the country, from Ho Chi Minh City, Dak Lak, Gia Lai, Quang Ngai, Da Nang to Quang Tri, Nghe An, Ninh Binh and Hanoi - places associated with the glorious historical tradition and diverse culture of the Vietnamese people.
They have had many meaningful activities such as offering incense to commemorate heroes and martyrs, visiting and giving gifts to veterans, youth volunteers, etc.
This year's summer camp also creates opportunities for children to meet and interact with officers and soldiers of the Vietnam Peacekeeping Department (Ministry of National Defense), who have represented the country in continuing to write a peace story not only for the Fatherland but also for countries in remote Africa.
These experiences have left in their hearts a deep impression and strong pride in a beautiful, united, traditional and peace-loving Vietnam.
Representing 110 young overseas Vietnamese, student Dang Minh Tam from Poland affirmed that Vietnam Summer Camp was an impressive and memorable journey, helping him go to many places, meet many people, and a great opportunity for him to use Vietnamese.

Minh Tam shared: Through this journey, I feel very clearly that no matter how long I travel and how far I go, my hometown, my Fatherland and everyone always open their arms to welcome me. Returning to Poland, I will be very proud to introduce and spread to my friends about my homeland - a friendly, humane and developed Vietnam".
Within the framework of the closing ceremony, the contest "Vietnam in Me" co-organized by the State Committee for Overseas Vietnamese and the Foreign Television Board, Vietnam Television awarded prizes to outstanding delegates of the Summer Camp program. Nguyen Duc Minh from the Russian Federation was honored to receive the first prize of the contest.
