A citizen with 3 nationalities of Russia, Estonia and Switzerland pleaded guilty in the US related to a line of bringing aviation and aerospace components abroad.

On September 15, according to TASS news agency, Andrey Samuylovsky - a citizen with 3 nationalities of Russia, Estonia and Switzerland - pleaded guilty in the US related to the transfer of aviation and aerospace components originating from the US to a country under Washington's sanctions.

The US Department of Justice said that Mr. Samuylovsky, 32 years old, pleaded guilty at the Federal Court of Columbia.

According to records from the US Department of Justice, Mr. Samuylovsky and his accomplices arranged dozens of shipments between the beginning of 2022 and September 2024. The total value of the supplied components amounted to nearly 2 million USD.

The shipments were taken out of the US before being re-exported to other countries.

Samuylovsky's confession took place after an investigation by US authorities into the transit of products originating from this country to evade sanctions. According to the allegations, the delivery of goods through intermediate routes was aimed at continuing to transfer components to a third country despite export restrictions.

With his confession, Samuylovsky faces a maximum sentence of 20 years in prison. The Federal Court of Columbia District is scheduled to pronounce the sentence on January 13, 2027.

The specific sentence will be decided by the court based on the details of the case and related regulations.
