On June 18, a Boeing 737 aircraft, with a capacity of about 150 people of Ryanair airline collided with a fence at the airport in Greece while moving under the ground.
Many passengers on the plane when the incident occurred could not help but worry about a potential fire because they were required to stay on the plane for a long time waiting for the fire department to arrive.
The flight, coded FR6080, departed from London Stansted on the morning of June 18 (local time), landed safely at Kalamata International Airport in southern Greece after a serious disruption.
The Boeing 737 crashed into a red-white fence while traveling on the runway. One wing of the plane is believed to be severely damaged. Images of the plane show the wings torn off due to the collision.
On the part of Ryanair, the airline spokesperson said: "This flight from London Stansted to Kalamata was rolling to the landing location when the wing impacted a fence at Kalamata Airport."
The spokesperson added that the plane then continued to move to the parking location, and passengers left the plane normally. The Boeing also underwent necessary inspections and maintenance before returning to operation.
