The first batch of more than 200 Storm unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) has been handed over by the manufacturer to the Russian army.

Russia has developed the Storm unmanned aerial vehicle with a wing-shaped design to serve air reconnaissance missions and the first batch of more than 200 UAVs has been handed over to the Russian army.

Information announced by the All-Russian People's Front. The Kulibin Club under this organization is supporting UAV developers.

According to a representative of the project group of Gaskar company, the Wing-shaped Storm UAV is used for air reconnaissance missions, target identification and to improve situation awareness on the ground.

In addition to integrating many different types of cameras, this UAV can also carry supporting systems such as signal repeaters.

Currently, more than 200 Storm UAVs have been transferred to Russian forces.

Feedback from military experts about this UAV is very positive. Gaskar manufacturer said it is quickly receiving requests from the field to improve the equipment.

A representative of Gaskar added that a transport UAV model has also been developed by the company, capable of carrying cargo weighing up to 25kg within a maximum range of 20km.

Transportation UAVs are being tested for transporting ammunition, necessities, medical supplies and other equipment.

This UAV helps minimize risks for soldiers and allows for supply missions. The device can also be used for military purposes when equipped with specialized load capacities," said the Gaskar representative.

He also said that transportation UAVs also integrate many systems to avoid being electronically suppressed by the enemy.

Kulibin Club is currently responsible for selecting, testing and mass production of the best technical initiatives from engineers in Russia.

Thanks to this initiative, thousands of electronic warfare systems, 4-wheeled UAVs, self-propelled robot vehicles and many other equipment have been deployed by Russia in the conflict in Ukraine.
