On May 28 (Moscow time), according to TASS news agency, Russian Security Council Secretary Sergey Shoigu announced that a total of 56 countries are actually participating in the confrontation with Russia in Ukraine.
The statement was made by Mr. Shoigu at the first International Security Forum organized by the Russian Security Council.
In fact, there are a total of 56 countries fighting against us," Mr. Shoigu said when referring to the long-range drone production cooperation between Germany and Ukraine.
According to Russian officials, long-range drones cannot operate effectively without guidance systems and technological support from many other countries.
Long-range drones will not be able to operate without navigation systems. That means satellite technologies are also being used," Mr. Shoigu said.
He believes that operating modern drones requires many technologies such as flight path programming, route adjustment and other complex technical support systems.
Therefore, not only Germany participates, but many other countries also play a role in the entire process," Mr. Shoigu emphasized.
The above statements were made in the context of Russia repeatedly accusing the West of increasing military and technological support for Ukraine, especially related to drone and long-range weapons development programs.
Over the past time, many European countries have expanded defense cooperation with Kiev, including providing military aid, training soldiers and supporting the production of weapons on Ukrainian territory.
Germany has recently also strengthened its commitment to military support for Kiev, including cooperation programs related to drone technology and defense capabilities.
On the Western side, NATO and European countries have repeatedly affirmed their support for Ukraine to help Kiev protect sovereignty and strengthen defense capabilities in the face of prolonged conflict with Russia.
Meanwhile, Moscow continues to consider military support activities from the West as a sign that the conflict in Ukraine is becoming more and more confrontational between Russia and NATO countries and allies.
