Moscow Mayor Sergei sobyanin said that Ukraine used dozens of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) to attack the capital Moscow (Russia) from the night of October 26 to the early morning of October 27 (local time).
According to Mr. Sobyanin, the airstrike took place at 10:00 p.m. on October 26 (local time). Within just five hours, the Russian air defense system shot down 28 Ukrainian UAVs targeting Moscow.
Rescue forces have also been deployed to all areas where UAVs have crashed.
Russia's aviation watchdog Rosaviatsiya said that Domodedovo Airport and Zhukovsky Airport have been closed since 10:40 p.m. on October 26 (local time) to ensure aviation safety.

The explosions were reported in many areas of the city and neighboring areas, including the Kommunarka district, according to Russian Telegram channels. There have been no reports of casualties.
At the same time as the airstrike, a fire broke out at an oil depot in Serpukhov city, Moscow, according to a local witness. The local government has not yet revealed the cause of the fire, but said the fire had been extinguished.
Ukraine has not commented on the reported attacks.
Ukraine regularly uses long-range UAVs to attack military and industrial targets in Russian territory, including oil refineries, weapons factories and ammunition depots.
