On October 4, Russian officials said the city of Gorlovka, in the Donbass region, was attacked by UAVs from Ukraine, injuring at least three people.
Mayor Ivan Prikhodko said the drones attacked in the afternoon, damaging energy infrastructure and many vehicles. By evening, a school in the same apartment building in the city continued to be hit.
In Gorlovka, Donetsk, two teenagers were also injured by explosives. Gorlovka, a city with a population of about 230,000 before the conflict, was located near the front line and was frequently bombed.
According to the Russian Foreign Ministry, between September 15 and 24, 27 civilians were killed and about 160 injured in attacks conducted by Ukraine in Russian territory. Moscow has accused Kiev of increasing actions against civilian targets, including schools and residential areas.
The latest developments have further escalated tensions in the region, with both sides blaming each other for attacks on civilians.
