Russia seizes control of a series of key areas in Ukraine

Russia has seized control of Rubezhnoye and Novoandreyevka of the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR) in the past 24 hours.

Units of the Northern Operations Group have controlled the Khrapovshchina residential area in Sumy province thanks to active activities. Also according to this agency, the Ukrainian army lost about 1,425 soldiers throughout the special military operation area in the past 24 hours. The Ukrainian side lost more than 250 troops in the responsibility area of the Northern Operations Group, more than 220 troops in the area of the Western Group, more than 200 troops in the area of the Southern Group, up to 395 troops in the area of the Central Group, up to 310 troops in the area of the Eastern Group and up to 50 troops in the area of the Dnepr Group.

In the same period, tactical air force, attack drones, Russian missile and artillery forces attacked fuel and energy infrastructure, logistics centers serving the Ukrainian army, drone assembly workshops, aircraft and component warehouses, and temporary garrisons of Ukrainian units and foreign mercenaries at 147 locations.

Russian air defense forces announced that they have shot down 715 fixed-wing drones, 5 guided bombs, 2 rockets from the US-made HIMARS complex and 8 Flamingo long-range cruise missiles.

Since the beginning of the special military operation, the Russian armed forces announced that they have destroyed 674 aircraft, 284 helicopters, 222,352 unmanned aerial vehicles, 670 air defense missile complexes, 30,748 tanks and armored fighting vehicles of all kinds, 1,775 multiple rocket launchers, 36,304 cannons and mortars, and 70,490 specialized military vehicles of the Ukrainian army.
