RT reported that the M270 heavy rocket artillery system as well as auxiliary equipment and Ukrainian soldiers were attacked by Russian Iskander-M missiles.
The Russian Ministry of National Defense shared a clip showing the Iskander-M missile attacking the M270 MLRS heavy multiple launch rocket system operated by Ukraine.
A short clip shared on the official Telegram channel of the Russian Ministry of National Defense on September 10 features drone footage showing the US-supplied MLRS rocket launchers for Ukraine on the road when they were attacked.
The attack took place near the Malaya Seideminukha settlement in Kherson province, the Russian Ministry of National Defence said.
Minutes later, the missile system and accompanying vehicles were seen engulfed in a massive explosion.
"As a result of the Iskander-M missile strike, Ukrainian servicemen were lost, US M270 MLRS and auxiliary equipment were destroyed," the Russian Ministry of National Defense said in the caption below the video.
The Russian military regularly reports successful attacks on Western military equipment supplied to Ukraine.
Previously, on September 9, the Russian Ministry of National Defense also released a clip of a drone attack on a US-made Bradley infantry fighting vehicle in Kharkov.
Moscow has repeatedly warned that no Western aid can change the outcome of the conflict in Ukraine and will only lead to more bloodshed. Russia has also warned that any foreign weapons sent to Ukraine will be destroyed.
