The launch took place at 5:40 am on August 24 Moscow time, equivalent to 2:40 am GMT, at Plesetsk Cosmodrome in Arkhangelsk province.
A combat team of the Russian Aerospace Forces, under the Russian Aerospace Forces, is responsible for the launch.
Soyuz-2. 1b belongs to the medium-sized rocket group. This is a variant of the Soyuz-2 rocket line developed by Russia. The Soyuz-2 series is used for missions to put spacecraft into orbit.
