Russian MP speaks out about Germany's continued increase in military aid to Ukraine.

According to TASS news agency, State Duma (Russian Lower House) MP Leonid Ivlev assessed that Germany's continued provision of military aid to Ukraine does not contribute to resolving the conflict but also increases tensions, causing the situation to escalate.

The assessment was made in the context that Germany continues to be one of the largest aid countries to Ukraine. According to the German Cabinet, since February 24, 2022, Berlin has provided Kiev with about 39 billion euros in humanitarian aid and 55 billion euros in military aid.

Previously, the German government was said to be funding the purchase of 50,000 Skyfall attack drones for Ukraine. These devices are equipped with target tracking software, with a total contract value of about 90 million euros.

According to information from the German government website, Mr. Ivlev said that Berlin has transferred to Ukraine many types of military equipment such as Leopard tanks, Marder infantry fighting vehicles, Patriot and IRIS air defense systems, Gepard self-propelled anti-aircraft guns, TRML-4D radar, missiles, ammunition, unmanned aerial vehicles and many other military equipment.

Although the number of German weapons transferred to Ukraine continues to increase, Mr. Ivlev affirmed that the Russian army is still capable of controlling and completely neutralizing this equipment.
