Look back at the 10 days of "shaking the island" of Hurricane Irma in the Caribbean for 30 seconds

The US aerospace agency NASA has released a video recording the journey of Hurricane Irma over the past 10 days for 30 seconds.

CNN posted a 30-second video from NASA on September 11 of Irma's 10-day journey. The video captures the journey of Irma from September 1 to September 10. Of which, the Category 5 storm, the highest on the US hurricane scale, departed from the Atlantic Ocean and swept across islands in the Caribbean and into Florida, USA.

In the Caribbean islands that the storm passed through, there was huge damage to small islands such as St. Martin in France and the Netherlands, British territory in Barbuda Anguilla, British Virgin Islands, US Virgin Islands, Turks and Caicos Islands. Many islands are still assessing the damage caused by the storm.

At least 36 people have died as a result of the storm, including 10 in Cuba, according to CNN published on September 11. Irma is currently over the US, having weakened and become a tropical storm since the evening of September 11.
