The event took place in the year Vietnam and Russia celebrate the 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations in one of the cities with the most vibrant cooperative and friendly relations with Vietnam in the Russian Federation.
At the ceremony, Mrs. Ngo Phuong Ly and the delegates were moved to remember the national liberation hero, outstanding cultural figure of Vietnam and a great friend of the Russian people.
Mrs. Ngo Phuong Ly and Governor Aleksandr Beglov solemnly opened the red cloth on the sign "Ho Chi Minh Square".
Next to the square is a plaque with a gold inscription recording the great contributions of President Ho Chi Minh - The founder of the Democratic Republic of Vietnam on September 2, 1945, the national liberation hero and an outstanding cultural figure recognized by the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UN UNESCO).

Speaking at the ceremony, Governor Aleksandr Beglov emphasized that the northern capital of Russia and Vietnam is not only connected by economic relations but also by strong friendship, which is also the orientation that Russian President Vladimir Putin and General Secretary To Lam are very interested in.

The wife also hopes that in the future there will be a school named after the Man in the city that beloved Uncle Ho first set foot in Soviet Russia in 1923, on a journey to find a way to save the country.
