Iran negotiates with Oman on management of the Hormuz Strait

On August 25 (local time), according to TASS news agency, Iran and Oman will discuss a plan to manage ship operations through the Strait of Hormuz for a period of 30-60 days, said Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Iran in charge of legal and international affairs Kazem Gharibabadi.

We will conduct negotiations on future agreements related to how to manage the Strait of Hormuz within 30-60 days," Mr. Gharibabadi said. He added that the two sides will also have to agree on a new shipping route.

The Iranian diplomat confirmed that this waterway will continue to be closed and Iran is completely controlling the area.

Israel expels Dutch official from Gaza support center

Israel will immediately expel Dutch representatives from the International Support Center for Gaza in Kiryat Gat, Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Saar announced on August 25.
