The cookies poll has accurately predicted the outcomes of the three most recent US elections that named the winners of this year's presidential election.
Pennsylvania-based Lochel's bakery said that the coffee cookies inspired by Mr. Trump are selling much better than the cake inspired by Mr. Biden with a range of up to 6-1.
It is known that the "Trump 2020" cookies and the "Biden 2020" cookies are red and green respectively.
The owner of Kathleen Lochel bakery told Fox News that some customers have even driven from other states to Pennsylvania to buy the cakes.
"Currently, Donald Trump is still leading... We have sold about 28,000 Trump cookies compared to 5,000 Biden cakes" - Lochel shared. She expects Trump- inspired cookies to sell nearly 29,000 units.
Kathleen Lochel's cake shop started this year's US election poll about 2 months ago and is scheduled to announce final sales on the evening of November 4.
According to 6abc.com, the bakery in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania has created a cake with the name and party color of each candidate in each election season. After that, the shop calculated the sales of each type of cake as an unofficial ballot for each candidate. In the last 3 elections, the shop's cake sales have accurately predicted the winner.
