The photos, taken from a camera screen, show the fighter with the unofficial name J-XDS or J-50 moving on the runway.
Chinese military aviation experts believe that this image is real, not a computer graphics product (CGI).
Military aviation researcher Andreas rupprecht (Germany) said that there are rumors that the origin of these photos was that a person had climbed over the fence of an airport belonging to the Saigon Air Corporation (SAC) to take photos.
Photos from both the front and rear corners confirm some of the main features, including a design without rear wing and a single- cho cockpit. The photo also shows that the J-XDS/J-50 is equipped with two engines and a 2D thrust guidance system, and the optical - electronic monitoring system can be clearly seen below the nose of the aircraft.
As for the wings, experts say they are designed in Lambda form. Compared to the J-35 scaffolding wing, the lambda wing has a larger spread ratio and higher aerodynamic efficiency, while still meeting the requirements of invisibleness.

The rear wing has two sections: the center is straight, then folds outwards before extending to the wing tip. However, this design reduces structural durability and increases weight.
Notably, in addition to the design without a vertical tail, the aircraft is also equipped with a rotating wing - a rare control system, which is said to help increase stability when flying at low speeds.
This suggests that the J-XDS/J-50 is advancing rapidly in the testing process and may be preparing for the deployment phase.
No public source has yet confirmed when the J-XDS/J-50 will be deployed, but analysts say China is strongly promoting the program with the goal of surpassing the US in putting the 6th generation fighter into operation, possibly around 2030.
Previously, at the end of 2024, the international online community was buzzing about the first leaked images of the J-XDS/J-50 model, but the quality at that time was much better than this new series of photos.

For the US and its allies, China's progress is seen as a direct challenge to the development of the 6th generation fighter jets.
The J-XDS/J-50 model is considered by observers to be a potential counterweight of the F-47 NGAD, a new fighter line announced by President Donald Trump in March, making it impossible for Washington to delay the program any longer.
The US Air Force aims to test run the F-47 NGAD prototype in 2028, while the Navy plans to introduce the F/A-XX in the 2030s.
