According to TASS, the Russian Ministry of Defense said on August 3 that the country's air defense forces shot down and neutralized 131 fixed-wing UAVs believed to be Ukrainian overnight.
The UAVs were intercepted between 8:00 PM on August 2nd and 7:00 AM on August 3rd (Moscow time) in the provinces of Belgorod, Bryansk, Voronezh, Kaluga, Kursk, Lipetsk, Oryol, Smolensk, Tula, Krasnodar, the Crimean peninsula and the airspace above the Black Sea.
In Vladimir province, 1 UAV hit a warehouse in Sobinsky district, causing a fire at the logistics center of Wildberries. Wildberries & Russ (RWB) company informed that firefighters are controlling the fire. Handling and delivery have been transferred to other facilities to ensure stable operation.
Provincial Governor Vladimir Alexander Avdeyev said that 3 people injured in the attack have been taken to the emergency room for medical treatment. The local prosecutor's office is coordinating with functional agencies to monitor the work of overcoming the consequences and ensuring the rights of affected people.
In the Crimean peninsula, Governor Sergey Aksyonov said that the Ukrainian attack in the night killed 3 people and injured 2 others. Local authorities will provide comprehensive support to families with casualties.
