According to VNA, major Japanese media agencies such as NHK Radio and Television and Jiji News Agency on the evening of December 5 reported highlights of the meeting that took place on the afternoon of December 5 between Chairman of the Vietnamese National Assembly Tran Thanh Man and Japanese Prime Minister Ishiba Shigeru at the Japanese Prime Minister's Office in Tokyo.
The official website of the Japanese Prime Minister's Office solemnly posted a photo of Vietnamese National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man and Prime Minister Ishiba Shigeru shaking hands with the title "Solemn visit of Vietnamese National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man".
The official website of the Japanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs reported an overview of the meeting, mentioning that Prime Minister Ishiba Shigeru welcomed the visit of Chairman of the Vietnamese National Assembly Tran Thanh Man to Japan.
According to the Japanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Prime Minister Ishiba Shigeru said that he met with Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh in October this year and President Luong Cuong in November, expressing hope to continue realizing cooperation between the two countries through high-level exchanges.
In response, National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man thanked the Japanese side for the hospitality extended to him during this visit and expressed his hope to cooperate with Prime Minister Ishiba Shigeru on the basis of the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership.
The two sides agreed to continue to strengthen cooperation, including through exchanges between parliaments and local governments. They also agreed to strengthen cooperation in many areas, including economy, security and people-to-people exchanges.
Japan's National Broadcasting Corporation (NHK) has highlighted the meeting between National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man and Prime Minister Ishiba Shigeru in its news bulletin.
Under the title “Prime Minister Ishiba holds talks with Chairman of Vietnam’s National Assembly to affirm strengthening cooperation in economy and other areas”, NHK reported that at the talks, Prime Minister Ishiba Shigeru emphasized his determination to strengthen bilateral relations through mutual understanding between the two countries’ leaders.
National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man affirmed his wish to deepen cooperation with Prime Minister Ishiba Shigeru on the basis of the Vietnam-Japan Comprehensive Strategic Partnership.
NHK also mentioned that the two leaders agreed to promote cooperation in the fields of economy, security, and people-to-people exchange, while strengthening parliamentary and local cooperation between the two countries.
Jiji news agency reported this important diplomatic activity, quoting Prime Minister Ishiba Shigeru as emphasizing: "Through high-level exchanges, we want to continue to realize cooperation between the two countries."
