The Ukrainian army lost more than 1,330 soldiers in battles with Russian forces throughout the front lines on September 2, according to the latest military operation data released by the Russian Ministry of Defense.
According to reports, the Ukrainian side lost about 200 troops in the area of responsibility of the Northern Operations Group, more than 205 troops in the area of the Western Group and more than 140 troops in the area of the Southern Group. In the same period, the Ukrainian army also lost more than 410 troops in the area of the Central Group, more than 325 troops in the area of the Eastern Group and up to 50 troops in the area of the Dnepr Group.
Earlier, President Vladimir Putin told reporters that Russian forces had controlled 14 residential areas in the past month, including Kazakhya Lopan and Svyatogorsk.
Also in the past 24 hours, tactical air force, attack drones, Russian missile and artillery forces have attacked distribution and logistics centers, a military airport, fuel infrastructure, energy, transportation of the Ukrainian army, drone production and storage facilities and components, as well as temporary garrisons of Ukrainian units and foreign mercenaries at 152 locations.
The Russian Ministry of Defense said it used a Geran-4 Seeker drone to attack the Stellar Jet logistics complex near the city of Vishnevoye in Kiev province. "Objective control data confirms the attack on the Stellar Jet logistics complex... The designated target was hit," the statement said.
The same type of aircraft was also used to attack the Odessa-22 distribution center near the residential area of Dachnoye in Odessa province, along with three other logistics centers near Nerubaiskoye (Odessa province), Voskresenskoye (Nikolayev province) and the city of Zaporizhia. According to the Russian Ministry of Defense, all targets were destroyed. A logistics center in Kiev city was also hit by Geran-4 Seeker.
At sea, the Russian Black Sea Fleet announced that it had destroyed a Ukrainian Navy unmanned boat in the Black Sea.
Russian air defense forces said they have shot down 464 fixed-wing drones, 4 guided bombs and 2 rockets of the US-made HIMARS multiple rocket launcher system in the past 24 hours.
