This year, the Hanoi fencing team unexpectedly missed the 2026 National Club Championship.
Therefore, the competition program has 7 participating teams from Ho Chi Minh City, Hai Phong, Nghe An, Thanh Hoa, Quang Ninh, People's Police and Bac Ninh (host).
The final matches were held on August 5. In the end, the Ho Chi Minh City team's fencer won the first place overall with 4 gold medals, 4 silver medals and 1 bronze medal.
Hai Phong team has 3 gold medals, 4 silver medals and 7 bronze medals, so they ranked second. The fencers of the People's Police team won third place with 3 gold medals, 2 silver medals, and 8 bronze medals.
The next positions respectively belong to Thanh Hoa, Bac Ninh, Quang Ninh, and Nghe An teams.
Representative of the fencing department (Department of Physical Education - Sports of Vietnam) - Mr. Nguyen Hong Dang said that the athletes have made efforts to compete and the tournament is an opportunity for fencers to strengthen competition and professional training.
The tournament has brought into competition medal sets for individuals and teams for three-edged swords, swords, men's and women's swords, and mixed team events.
Due to the limited number of domestic tournaments, the units sent forces to compete this year to focus on grasping expertise to prepare for the X-2026 National Sports Games at the end of the year in Ho Chi Minh City.
