The ASEAN Para Games 13 competition program closed after the evening of January 25th in Nakhon Ratchasima.
Vietnamese coaches and athletes with disabilities completed their competition tasks and achieved a total of 38 gold medals, 48 silver medals, and 58 bronze medals.
We ranked 5th overall after Thailand, Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines.
Before participating in the Games in Thailand, the target of the Vietnamese disabled sports delegation with ASEAN Para Games 13 is to strive to win from 30 to 35 gold medals, ranking among the 5 leading countries in achievements.

At this year's Games, the sports teams for people with disabilities in swimming, chess and athletics contributed the most medal achievements.
The disabled chess player brought home 15 gold medals, 4 silver medals and 11 bronze medals while the swimming team had 14 gold medals, 17 silver medals and 27 bronze medals.
The disabled athletics team contributed 7 gold medals, 18 silver medals and 11 bronze medals.
At ASEAN Para Games 13, we competed in 11 official sports including athletics, swimming, weightlifting, badminton, table tennis, chess, judo, boccia, tennis, swordplay, archery.
The sports that won medals for the Vietnamese Sports Delegation for people with disabilities are athletics, swimming, weightlifting, badminton, table tennis, chess, judo, and swordplay.

Leaders of the Vietnamese Sports Delegation for People with Disabilities said that swimmer Vi Thi Hang was the person with the best individual results when she won 4 gold medals, breaking 2 records in the S7 disability category.
At the end of the Games, the host disabled sports delegation Thailand maintained the No. 1 position with achievements of 176 gold medals, 155 silver medals and 158 bronze medals.
On January 26, ASEAN Para Games 13 will hold the Closing Ceremony.
