Boxer Bac Thi Khiem could not cause a surprise so she stopped at the 2025 World Taekwondo Championship.

The Vietnamese taekwondo team is still competing in the 2025 World Championship, but many fighters have stopped one by one. The tournament will be held in Wuxi (China) until October 30.

In the latest results, player Bac Thi Khiem lost in the first match of the women's 67kg weight class and was eliminated. She played againstunderunderunderunderunderunder Ramirez (Colombia) but lost 1-2. The loss left Bac Thi Khiem unable to advance further into the tournament.

In 2024, Bac Thi Khiem won the gold medal in the women's 67kg weight class at the 2025 Asian Championship.

Meanwhile, the fighter that is of interest to experts, Truong Thi Kim Tuyen, also competed in the women's 49kg weight class. She passed round 1 of the event. In the second round, Kim Tuyen lost to Thailand and was eliminated.

The Vietnamese taekwondo team will send 10 fighters to compete in the weightlifting classes at the 2025 World Championship. However, no fighter has achieved positive results in the quarterfinals so far.

The 2025 World Championship is one of the professional tests for the Vietnam Taekwondo Team to prepare for the 33rd SEA Games in Thailand. In history, we have not won medals in the individual event at the World Championship.

It is expected that after the 2025 World Championship, the Taekwondo Team will send a number of key athletes to train abroad before going to Thailand to compete in the 33rd SEA Games.
