Sweden's Stockholm City Police have completed an impenetrable iron barrier around the stadium where the Manchester United vs Ajax Armsterdam match will take place. This is necessary because there is no way to confirm that the terrorists did not target this event.
In addition to using an iron fence, the security forces of Stockholm city have continuously operated helicopters around the competition area. In addition, dozens of armored military vehicles have been supplemented and patrolled throughout the city.
Currently, players and coaching staff of both M.U and Ajax are present in Stockholm, but no one can hide their concern after the terrible thing that just happened in Manchester.
Both Man United and Ajax have agreed to wear black ribbon in the upcoming Final to commemorate those who passed away after the bombing. Quoting a Swedish Foreign Ministry spokesperson:
"terrorists can attack in Sweden, they will not matter which territory or which country. The terrorist groups may have come from the UK after their interests were affected in Irag and Syria.
For those who want to enter the stadium to watch the match, you must have a full ID card or a valid passport. If you lose your ID card or passport, you need to go to the British Embassy in Sweden to apply for a reissue."
Obviously, since the horrific bombing in Paris in November 2015, the world of football has never been at a peaceful place because the threats from terrorism are always present and can hit at any time.
