VTV Binh Dien Long An youth team plays a friendly match
4 women's volleyball teams including VTV Binh Dien Long An youth team, Long An talent team, Dak Lak youth team and Dak Lak women's team recently competed in the 2025 Buon Ma Thuot Coffee Festival Cup in Dak Lak. Leading the VTV Binh Dien Long An youth team to participate in this tournament is coach Nguyen Thi Ngoc Hoa.
A representative of the Dak Lak Province Sports Training and Competition Center said that this is a friendly volleyball tournament within the series of activities of the 9th Buon Ma Thuot Coffee Festival in 2025 in Dak Lak. The organizing committee highly appreciated the fact that all 4 teams had good faces participating in the competition and above all, young players from each unit were on the field to create attractive matches for the audience.

With careful preparation and effective moves, the Dak Lak women's team won the championship. The VTV Binh Dien Long An youth team won the runner-up position. Third place belongs to Dak Lak youth team, while the consolation prize belongs to Long An talent team.
Male middle blocker breaks leg
Former national player Vu Ngoc Hoang had to reluctantly say goodbye to the first phase of the 2025 national volleyball championship due to a serious injury. He was in pain after a ball in the match between Hanoi and LPB Ninh Binh in the Hoa Lu - Binh Dien Cup 2025.
The middle blocker of the Hanoi men's team was taken for injury testing and was determined to be more severe than expected. Mr. Bui Dinh Loi - Head of the Hanoi men's volleyball team said that Ngoc Hoang not only suffered a single ankle overturned but also suffered a broken bone (one bone in his foot). Therefore, the male player needs time to recover for treatment.
Vu Ngoc Hoang suffered a broken wrist injury while competing in round 2 of the 2023 National Volleyball Championship. This reason also means that the male middle blocker will not participate in the first phase of the 2024 National Volleyball Championship.
Ho Chi Minh City Police men's team has Cuban foreign players
The Ho Chi Minh City Police men's volleyball team has reached an agreement to continue to add 1 more foreign player to participate in phase 1 of the 2025 National Volleyball Championship. This player is Cuban and plays as a striker. It is known that the player will arrive in Vietnam on March 16.
According to head coach Duong Tan Vinh, the Southern team is practicing in Dong Anh (Hanoi) to get used to the field and climate. Currently, the team spirit is good. Coach Duong Tan Vinh and his team have learned from the experience after the Hoa Lu - Binh Dien Cup 2025 tournament, while consolidating each position on the field.

With the addition of Cuban foreign players, the Ho Chi Minh City Police men's team will register 2 foreign players in the first phase of the 2025 National Volleyball Championship, along with player Rendy Tamamilang (Indonesia).
