League A continues to use foreign players
Recently, the Vietnam Volleyball Federation (VFV) has officially issued the regulations for the 2025 national A-class volleyball tournament for teams to prepare before officially registering.
Accordingly, the men's/women's teams in the A-League are allowed to register foreign players to participate. Each team is allowed to register a maximum of 2 foreign players and only 1 player is allowed to play at any time. However, this foreign player is not a foreign player registered to participate in the national volleyball championship.
Currently, VFV has not yet determined the total number of men's and women's teams participating in the 2025 national A-class tournament.
3 Vietnamese male players go abroad
Techo Volleyball League is Cambodia's top quality volleyball league that has kicked off its 2025 season. The tournament will take place from January 10 to February 23 at the Olympic Stadium with 4 teams competing.
This year, the Takeo Provincial Police Club signed contracts with three Vietnamese foreign players, Che Quoc Vo Lit, Hong Hoang and setter Duong Trung Hieu. In the 2024 season, Che Quoc Vo Lit was also hired by the Ministry of Internal Affairs Club to compete in this tournament.
After the first series of matches, Takeo Provincial Police Club is currently at the bottom of the rankings. The next match of this team with the participation of 3 foreign players from Vietnam will take place at 6:00 p.m. on January 18.
Tu Thanh Thuan continues to be associated with Sanest Khanh Hoa
Sanest Khanh Hoa is expected to face many difficulties in the 2025 season because after the end of the 2024 season, this team's sponsorship was cut, causing many names to leave.
Fans expressed concern about the future of the remaining pillars such as Tu Thanh Thuan, Duong Van Tien or veteran libero Huynh Trung Truc. However, according to the latest information, the above trio will still wear the Sanest Khanh Hoa shirt in the 2025 season.
Under the leadership of new head coach Ngo Van Kieu, Tu Thanh Thuan and his teammates will certainly have to prepare mentally to enter the 2025 season with many difficulties.
