Foreign player Warisara receives praise
Warisara Seetaloed is a foreign player currently playing for the LPB Ninh Binh women's volleyball team under a short-term contract. During her time playing for the Co Do team since early 2024, Warisara was on the payroll of the Diamond Food team (Thailand). After Diamond Food announced its dissolution, the young player was recruited by Supreme Chonburi.
Recently, Thai women's volleyball legend Wilavan Apinyapong, who is also the leader of Supreme Chonburi, gave compliments to Warisasra.
"We do not consider Warisara a rising star. Warisara has proven her ability early on, her performances in professional tournaments are relatively good. Warisara has relatively great potential and I am very happy to have her in the squad," Wilavan Apinyapong shared.
On December 15, Warisara and LPB Ninh Binh went to Tianjin (China) to participate in the 2024 World Club Volleyball Championship. She is the only foreign player in coach Thai Thanh Tung's squad in this tournament.
Indonesian fans worry about Thanh Thuy's health
Currently, main striker Tran Thi Thanh Thuy is in Indonesia, joining the Gresik Petrokimia Pupuk team. This is the 6th club in the 1997-born player's journey abroad.
Contrary to the expectations of Vietnamese volleyball fans, Indonesian fans expressed certain concerns, especially about the health of the main attacker from Vietnam.
On the post announcing Thanh Thuy's arrival in the Indonesian national championship on the X page (formerly Twitter) Indonesia Volleyball, some comments were left such as: "I heard rumors that she had a heart attack? Will she be able to compete?", "She left the Turkish team due to injury and other health problems. I'm sorry to hear this news", "It seems that 4T is not in good form and she is sometimes just a reserve member of the team".
However, many audiences hope Thanh Thuy will play well and fully recover from her injury when playing for Gresik Petrokimia Pupuk.
