Expert Federico Rampazzo (Italy) is the latest member to join the Vietnamese Men's Volleyball Team. Mr. Federico Rampazzo arrived in Hanoi on May 25. This is the 22nd member of the Vietnamese Men's Volleyball Team.
Previously, the Vietnamese men's volleyball team practiced professionally with 18 players and 3 coaching staff members at the National High-Level Athlete Training Center.
The list of 18 players includes: Dinh Van Duy, Nguyen Ngoc Thuan, Tran Minh Duc, Tran Duy Tuyen, Truong The Khai, Phan Cong Duc, Cao Duc Hoang, Pham Thanh Tung, Pham Quoc Du, Bui Xuan Tien, Tran Hoai Phuong, Tran Thanh Nhan, Nguyen Van Quoc Duy, Trinh Duy Phuc, Tran Anh Tu, Ly Van Chuong, Dao Xuan Viet, Tang Ngoc Hieu.
The coaching staff members include coaches Nguyen Dinh Lap, Phan Van Nghiep and Le Quang Khanh.
Expert Federico Rampazzo was hired to work under a 1-year contract in the near future. Mr. Federico Rampazzo's role is the head coach of the Vietnamese men's volleyball team.
The team will train in Hanoi and then be ready to participate in the SEA V.League 2026 in July with stages in Thailand and Indonesia respectively.
The last time the Vietnamese men's volleyball team had a foreign expert was during the preparation for SEA Games 31.
At that time, Mr. Li Huang Ning was the head coach of the Vietnamese men's volleyball team. Currently, this Chinese expert is the head coach of the Cambodian men's volleyball team.
