From May 25, the Vietnam U18 Women's Volleyball Team will train in Tam Dao (Phu Tho) instead of training in Bac Ninh. Previously, the Vietnam U18 Women's Volleyball Team had been training in Bac Ninh since April 8.
However, the Vietnamese women's volleyball team will focus on training in Bac Ninh to prepare for the AVC Cup 2026. Therefore, female players are changed to training locations.
Recently, some players participating in the VTV9 - Binh Dien Cup 2026 have completed the competition program and returned to the Vietnam U18 Women's Volleyball Team.
However, the coaching staff still has many faces participating in the 2026 National League A tournament in Dien Bien who will gather late.
The Vietnam U18 women's volleyball team will participate in the 2026 AFC U18 Championship in Thailand from July 1 to July 7.
The Asian Volleyball Federation has just drawn lots for the groups of the tournament. Accordingly, Group A includes Thailand (host), Uzbekistan, Australia, Mongolia; Group B includes China, Kazakhstan, Hong Kong (China), Kyrgyzstan; Group C includes Japan, Iran, Philippines, Indonesia; Group D includes Taiwan (China), South Korea, India, Vietnam.
The Vietnam U18 women's volleyball team is training 20 players at the present time. The team will reduce its force to 14 official players before going to Thailand to play.
The results of the 2026 AFC U18 Championship will determine the spot to participate in the 2027 FIFA U19 World Championship for participating teams.
